The UvA Health Week is all about health: sports, exercise and nutrition as well as stress, burnout and other mental health issues. It’s about living a healthier life and why we sometimes fail to do so.

This year’s theme is ‘balance’. What is balance? Are you in balance, or just balancing? Does balance even mean the same thing for everyone? Today’s 24/7 society, in which we are constantly bombarded with information and we struggle with choice overload as well as the pressure to perform, makes it important that we periodically stop to think about what we are doing why and how.
Activities aimed especially at students, PhD candidates and employees will be organised across the UvA campus during the UvA Health Week. It is a week full of exercise, debate and reflection. Come join us!
